Community notice from NZTA – expect minor delays crossing the Waioeka Bridge in the coming weeks as NZTA begins overnight works cleaning and painting the Waioeka Bridge from next Monday (14 October).

The works will be weather-dependent but expect more than 20 days of overnight works, 7 days a week, between 6pm and 6am to minimise the impact on motorists. During this time the bridge will be reduced to a single lane with stop/go traffic management in place.

It will be closed to ‘over dimension’ vehicles during the nights.
